MISSION  STATEMENT

             The Russian Advisory Board strives to increase civic involvement among Russian-speaking residents and help the City provide better services to the entire West Hollywood community.

ABOUT RUSSIAN ADVISORY BOARD

             The creation of a Russian Advisory Board (RAB) was approved by the West Hollywood City Council on July 17, 2000. The RAB consists of eleven (11) Russian-speaking at large members who advise the City Council on issues relating to the Russian-speaking Community. Members are either West Hollywood residents or business owners in the City and serve a two (2) year term starting June 1st and expiring May 31st of odd numbered years.

MONTHLY MEETINGS

             Russian Advisory Board monthly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at West Hollywood City Hall (8300 Santa Monica Blvd.) in the first floor Community Conference Room. The meetings are open to the public and present an opportunity for community members to present their concerns, start dialogue on issues, hear what’s happening in the community and become involved in the programming of activities.

             If you would like to make a formal presentation before the Russian Advisory Board, please contact the staff liaisons to make arrangements prior to the meeting. All formal presentations must be placed on the agenda.

             Meetings are conducted in Russian with simultaneous or consecutive translation, they are wheelchair accessible and disability related needs can be accommodated upon 48 hours notice.
