The 7th Annual Russian Style Festival in West Hollywood will take place on June 29, 2008. This special event that will celebrate the rich heritage and culture of L.A.'s Russian-speaking community is a family oriented program designed to share Russian-American culture-including art, music, food, entertainment and business with the West Hollywood (over 15% of which is Russian-speaking) and Los Angeles Metro area communities.
The Opening Night Ceremony & Annual Awards Presentation will kick-off the 7th Annual Russian Cultural Festival in West Hollywood on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 6pm to 9pm at Pacific Design Center (Blue Building) Silver Screen Theater (8687 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90069) The evening will include a reception, special guests, the 3rd annual community awards presentation, Art Exhibit presented by Art Territory gallery, Special performance by "Firebird".
Russian Style Festival is sponsored and produced by the City of West Hollywood, its Russian Advisory Board and other community organizations and businesses. The expected attendance is over 5,000, including both Russian and non-Russian speaking visitors.
The Russian-speaking community of the Greater Los Angeles region is one of the largest and most diverse in the United States. Over 300,000 members reside in the L.A. metro area, alone. This makes it one of the five largest Russian-speaking communities in the nation, and the largest on the West Coast. Furthermore, the Russian-speaking population of West Hollywood is the most concentrated single Russian-speaking region in the United States outside of New York. It consists primarily of émigrés from different Republics of the former Soviet Union: Russian Federation, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Latvia, Uzbekistan, etc. Within the Russian-speaking community, family ties and tradition are deeply important. This makes the com-munity both strong and unique.
The 7th Annual Russian Style Festival in West Hollywood will be extensively publicized through numerous media outlets, including several Russian and English language cable networks, locally and nationwide. Your company is invited to explore the attached Russian Style Festival Sponsorship Package. In addition to numerous other promotional opportunities, your company logo/name will be featured in the marketing materials. These include flyers, posters, banners, newspapers/magazine ads, postcards, personal invitations, etc. As one small feature of our marketing campaign, we will be distributing full-color flyers to local Russian and non-Russian businesses from May, 2008. These businesses include markets, retail stores, book stores, travel agencies, doctor and law offices, and more. The flyers will be printed in both Russian and English. |
